PedestrianTime_ Thursday - Sunday 18.00 - 06.00 In collaboration with the York Renaissance Project, SightSonic presents Pedestrian,
a public artwork by Paul Kaiser and Shelley Eshkar. Projected onto the pavement,
Pedestrian features small figures, which congregate and disperse in a random fashion.
These figures stand, watch, walk, meet and sometimes run within the projection. This piece of artwork is supported by the York Renaissance Project, through funding from Yorkshire Forward |

Hylo Education Project - InterventionTime_ Friday 13.30 - 14.30 Inspired by Andy Eccleston and Ron Wright's exhibition Hylo (Impressions Gallery), pupils from three York secondary schools have created digital sound responses to the artist's video works. The pupils were given a unique opportunity to work with original artist's films and to alter these works through sound and musical interventions responding to the visual imagery, emotions and moods. A live multimedia performance of video projections and sound will be given by the pupils involved with the project. |

Blind folded, the audience sit facing not the performer but within a circle of speakers. With their backs to Lopez, the audience is plunged into a pitch-black sonic abyss that destroys the boundaries between the industrial and the wilderness sound environments.
